ABOUT THE PROJECT

Objective:
Get the overseas Filipino worker community and their families to stay connected with the use of Google products.

Problem:
While overseas Filipino workers are online, their awareness and understanding of the products that could benefit them is low.

Solution:
Showcase the products through creative storytelling, in a way that the overseas Filipino worker community can relate.

We created:
A website with Stories about the product and photos of the people behind them.
The landing page focused on telling the stories of overseas Filipino workers and how Google products helped to keep them close. We focused on creating stories that were believable and local for our targeted audience to relate better with the products.

This video showcased a variety of Google products and how they could help overseas Filipino worker families stay connected even though they are far apart. We collaborated with a Filipino musician to compose music to give the film a more local feel.

Banner ads to drive traffic to the site
The first step of the campaign was to create top line awareness, which was done by creating a series of banner ads. These ads ran in PH and other countries with strong overseas Filipino worker communities. The ads were created to pique people’s interest through personal stories that we created.
