ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Google Cloud’s NEXT event took place in San Francisco on 24th of July 2018. To mirror this momentous occasion, Google were looking to tell a ‘Tech for Good’ story of cinematic proportions. The partnership between Gojek and Google Cloud resonated well with the objective lined up.
This initiative tells a tale of home grown tech solutions for a broken infrastructure riddled with economic barriers nationwide. It was truly a case of Indonesia marching to the beat of her own drum.
No punches were pulled to bring this story justice as we were privileged to bring together an Emmy nominated director, a Netflix pedigree cinematographer, and a top class crew from Jakarta & Bandung.
The video reached the 300k strong attendance at the event and was supplemented by the 6526 views garnered on YouTube.
